The PV Powered 500kW is Advanced Energy's newest member of it's highly innovative, efficient and reliable solar inverters. Equipped with integrated DC circuit breaker subcombiners and integrated circuit breakers for each individual DC input, the PVP500kW enables low cost compliance with NEC2011 and improves serviceability.
Designed for larger commerical and utility scale applications, the PVP500kW accelerates payback with an estimated 98.2% peak efficiency and 97% CEC efficiency. Optional advanced power controls provide essential utility support functions including scheduled power factor and curtailment with controlled ramp rate making it easy to comply with interconnect requirements.
